Rebuilt the core double-entry ledger as an active-active service across three regions. Strongly consistent writes via Raft, lock-free reads. Replaced a Postgres-per-region setup that bled an hour of downtime every quarter.
Streaming feature store + decision engine. Replaced a batch model that ran on yesterday's data with sub-50ms scoring on every authorization. Cut chargeback losses materially in the first quarter live.
A webhook delivery service that survives partner outages without losing or duplicating events. Exactly-once semantics via outbox pattern, retry budgets, and signed cursors. Open-sourced the client SDK.
A query planner shim in front of our analytics warehouse that rejects, rewrites, or queues expensive queries based on user budgets. Eliminated "the dashboard that took down prod" as a recurring incident class.
